【Characteristics】
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is a white, yellowish-white or grayish-white powder or granules, it's a cellulose ether which is based on methyl cellulose.Our products produced from the raw material of high purity cotton.After alkali treatment and special etherification becomes HPMC.

【Application】
1.Tile adhesive
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can greatly improve the water retention capacity, inhibit the large loss of moisture to the highly water-absorbing ceramic tile and substrate, so that there is enough water for hardening condition of cement, the bond strength is increased and the slip resistance of mortar is further improved;
Excellent open time and adjustable time for workers to adjust the mistakes of placing wrong ceramic;
No matter be thickly sticked or thin sticked, Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can develop a good bond strength, reduce shrinkage rate, and it won't cause ceramic tile craze and fall off by stress;
2. Cement-based mortar
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can improve the homogeneity of the mortar,which permits an easier painting of the mortar .Thus the working efficiency is improved and the resistance to sagging is enhanced.
3.Putty
The excellent water retention of Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose prolongs the workable time of putty,improves working efficiency ,avoids occurrence of crusting phenomena and imparts high mechanical strength to putty during coagulating period.
Usage
1.Use directly-Mix under dry base:
Mix Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose with other materials you need to add directly in the mixer.
When Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose and other materials blend well,pour water to disperse and dissolve.
2.Mother solution first
First, pour 1/3 or 2/3 of the total water you need to add into the container.
Second, heat the water .when the water temperature is about 85 centigrade,add Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose continually at the same time keep stirring.
Third ,When the solution becomes a kind of slurry ,please add the rest of water while keep stirring until the solution turns transparent
Packaging
Our Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose is packed in an inner polyethylene bag reinforced with a 3-ply paper bag, or paper barrel or paper box, net weight is 25kg per bag.
Transportation and Storage
Protect the product against moisture and damp.
Don't put it together with other chemicals.
