Aluminium Tread Plate refers to aluminum plate checkered or embossed in surface for safety treads and flooring uses.
Patterns: Five bar, six bar, two bar, and one bar diamond patterns.
Aluminum Tread Plate Materials
Tread plates are manufactured from selected 1000, 3000 and 5000 series alloys, mainly 3003, 5052, 5251, and 6061, 6082 grade.
Aluminum plates are in general nonsparking, corrosion resistant, and nonmagnetic.
Tread plates in 3003 aluminum grade offer a shiner surface and popular material for decorative metal working. 6061 aluminum is less corrosion resistant comparing to 3003 grade, but it is stronger and suitable for stair treads. 6082 aluminum alloy plate is also strong, ideal for flooring uses.
