Application
ANTIOXIDANT HONOX-DTBHQ is generally used as a polymerization inhibitor, an antioxidant and a stabilizer. It is used mostly in industrial applications, particularly in rubbers, adhesive and adhesive films, paints, and monomers.
Stabilizer: It can strongly absorb ultraviolet wavelength of 280-310 nm. It is the thermal stabilizer for polyolefin fiber (dosage 0.5%) and film (dosage 0.01-2%) such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester resin (such as polyester).
Inhibitor: it is the polymerization inhibitor for a variety of resin monomers. The effect is sustained and no color change when it is compared to hydroquinone. It has good inhibition to butadiene, vinyl acetate, styrene and other vinyl monomer.
Antioxidant: It can also be used as an additive for vegetable oils, increasing the oxidation resistance of oils and fats, stabilizing oils and extending storage period.
Rubber antiager: It is the excellent anti-aging agent for light colored rubber products and the antioxidant for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex, retarding the oxidation and UV aging of the cured rubber and the uncured rubber. It also has the performances of heat resistance and flex resistance. The synergism is realized when it is combined with anti-aging DNP. It is also effective to the adhesive. It is easy to disperse in rubber products, non-discoloring and non-staining. It can be used to the production of light color rubber products, medical products and latex products. The general dosage is 0.3-0.5%. info at hhochem com
